FAQ
Quick answers for sellers and buyers using ConfidentCar.
What is ConfidentCar?
It is a private-party car sale preparation tool. Sellers use it to create a structured packet with photos, vehicle details, disclosures, maintenance notes, and buyer inquiry tools.
Do buyers need an account?
No. Buyers can view a published packet and contact the seller without creating an account.
Do sellers need an account?
No. Sellers can start with an email-based private edit link. Account features may be useful later for managing multiple packets, but they are not required to create a packet today.
Does ConfidentCar verify the vehicle?
No. Vehicle information is seller-provided unless clearly marked otherwise. Buyers should still inspect the vehicle, verify the title, review history reports, and use their own judgment before paying.
Is this a marketplace?
Not yet. The current product is focused on creating a trustworthy packet a seller can share anywhere they already list or discuss the car.
Can a seller unpublish a packet?
Yes. Sellers can unpublish or archive a packet when they no longer want it public.
Who can edit a packet?
Anyone with the seller's private edit link can edit, publish, or unpublish that packet. Keep that link private.
How do I get help?
Email support@example.com with the vehicle, packet link, and a short description of the issue.
Ready to prepare a sale?
Build a packet once, then share it with buyers from any listing, text conversation, or social post.
